When I Fall In Love...

When I fall in love it will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun

When I give my heart it will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment
I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you.

(instrumental interlude first two lines)

And the moment
I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you.

Indonesia's Aceh Impost Islamic Laws

JAKARTA, Indonesia: Muslim women would be banned from wearing tight pants in a devoutly Islamic district of Indonesia's Aceh province under proposed regulations to take effect Jan. 1, an official said Wednesday.

It is the latest effort to promote strict moral values in the world's most populous Muslim-majority nation, where most of the roughly 200 million Muslims practice a moderate form of the faith.

Any Muslim caught violating the dress code, which also prohibits shorts for men, will be told to put on government-issued full-length skirts or loose pants, said Ramli Mansur, head of West Aceh District.

Patrolling Shariah, or Islamic police, will determine if clothing violates the dress code, he said.
"Wearing tight jeans exposes their bodies, which is strictly banned under Islam," said Mansur, who appealed to civil servants to go beyond the rules and refuse government services to women wearing the banned clothing.

Islamic law is not enforced across the vast island nation. But bans on drinking alcohol, gambling and kissing in public, among other activities, have been enforced by some more conservative local governments in recent years.

Opinion polls show that a majority of Indonesians oppose the restrictions on dress and behavior that are being pushed by a small fringe of hardliners in the secular democracy.
Aceh, a semiautonomous region, made news last month when its provincial parliament passed a Shariah law making adultery punishable by stoning to death. It also imposed prison sentences and public lashings against homosexuals and pedophiles.

Rights groups say the law violates international treaties and the Indonesian constitution.

Plane Overshot By 240km

WASHINGTON: US AVIATION officials and the FBI probed Friday how pilots of an airplane with 149 people on board managed to overshoot their destination by 240km, prompting fears of a hijacking.

The US National Transportation Safety Board said controllers lost radio contact late on Wednesday with the Northwest Airlines flight heading from San Diego, California to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spokesman in Minneapolis confirmed to AFP that the agency had launched its own investigation into the incident, but declined to comment further.

Passengers reported being unaware of any mishap until police boarded the plane when it eventually landed at Minneapolis Airport more than an hour behind schedule.

'The crew stated they were in a heated discussion over airline policy and they lost situational awareness,' the safety board said, although a source close to the investigation said the crew had not yet been independently interviewed.

The plane's cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder are being sent to Washington for analysis. Northwest Airlines reportedly suspended the pilots from flying as the probe got under way. -- AFP

London's Heathrow Tops List Of Worst Airports

SYDNEY, Oct 23: London's Heathrow Airport has been voted the worst airport in the world for the second year running in a poll of 14,500 frequent fliers while Singapore's Changi was again ranked as the best.

The survey participants, all member of airport lounge programme Priority Pass, rated Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport as the world's second worst with Los Angeles International Airport coming third despite a recent $1 billion overhaul.

"A result that suggests anyone wanting a romantic break in Paris should avoid the Heathrow-Charles de Gaulle route if they don't want to kill the mood," said a statement from Priority Pass.

"Sadly, Heathrow remains firmly entrenched as the airport the world loves to hate," added Jonathan French, head of brand for Priority Pass.

Also coming in the bottom five in the online poll were Frankfurt International and Miami International airports.

One of the few major countries whose travellers did not put Heathrow at or near the bottom of the list was the United States. U.S. fliers rated Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York JFK as the worst.

At the other end of the scale, the poll conducted in September among fliers from 160 countries found that Singapore Changi topped the list of the world's best airports followed by Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok.

This was the second consecutive year that these airports have come in the top two slots.

The favourite airport in Europe was Amsterdam Schiphol.

The respondents to the survey were all frequent travellers who have taken on average 17 flights in the past 12 months.

Welcome On Board - In-Flight Delivery

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: A Malaysian woman who gave premature birth to a boy on board an airplane minutes before it landed will get free flights for life along with her child, an airline official said Friday.

Liew Siaw Hsia, 31, gave birth on budget carrier AirAsia's flight from Penang to Kuching on Wednesday 21/10/2009.

AirAsia spokesman Nazatul Mokhtar said Friday that the flight was diverted to nearby Kuala Lumpur for an emergency landing when Liew started labour pains. He says Liew was 27 weeks pregnant, 11 weeks short of the full term.

A doctor on the flight helped the woman deliver while the plane was still 2,000 feet (600 metres) in the air in its final approach to land.

Mother and son were rushed to a nearby hospital after the plane landed, an airline statement said. Their condition late Friday was unknown, though Nazatul said earlier that they were both in good shape.

Nazatul says both Liew and her son will get lifetime of free flights.

H1N1 Vaccines For Chronic Patients

SINGAPORE: The first batch of H1N1 vaccines look set to arrive in three weeks, but already some 2,000 people have registered their interest to get their jabs at some clinics.
Clinics said they are collating data of those who have registered and will inform them once the vaccines arrive.

But they said the Ministry of Health has not told them who should be given the vaccinations first.

Some doctors recommend that those suffering from chronic diseases to be first in line. The elderly, children and pregnant women are also advised to get the jabs first.

Dr Vincent Chia, deputy medical director, Healthway Medical Group, said: "I would not say there should be a priority group we should be giving the vaccines to.

"But at the same time, with the H1N1 vaccine coming in, we would actually look at patients that probably require it, who are on the recommended list. Now these would, more importantly, be the ones with the chronic disease." — CNA/vm

Baby Miracle Escape

SYDNEY - A SIX-MONTH-OLD baby boy whose pram rolled onto railway tracks in front of an oncoming train has survived with only a bump to the head, officials said on Friday.

The child, who was strapped into his stroller when the accident occurred, was dragged about 35m by the train as it pulled into Ashburton station in Melbourne's east on Thursday 15-10-2009 afternoon.

'The pram rolled a very short distance straight over the edge of the platform and onto the tracks right as the train was coming in,' Connex trains spokesman John Rees told AFP. 'The baby has gotten away with just a cut on the forehead.'

Mr Rees said the driver slammed on the brakes as hard as possible as soon as he saw the pram tumble in front of him, and was aided by the fact that the train was slowing down as it entered the station.

Paramedics, who arrived to find the baby being comforted by his mother, confirmed the child received a bump on his head.

'Luckily he was strapped into his pram at the time, which probably saved his life,' paramedic Jon Wright said in a statement.

Tribute To Micheal Jackson

LOS ANGELES/LONDON: Michael Jackson's new single "This Is It" was released online and on radio on Monday but fans and music experts quickly spotted striking similarities to an 18-year-old recording.

"This Is It" was promoted as a new Jackson recording and was released around the world nearly four months after the "king of pop" died in Los Angeles of a prescription drug overdose at the age of 50.

It will be available to buy as part of a two-disc album that hits the shelves internationally on October 26 and in North America on October 27 to coincide with the global limited release of the Jackson rehearsal footage movie "This is It" on October 28.

Fans said the "This Is It" song has the same melody and almost identical lyrics to a little-known 1991 recording by Puerto Rican singer SaFire. A version of the SaFire song, called "I Never Heard," was posted on YouTube on Monday.

In Los Angeles, 1960s teen idol and songwriter Paul Anka told celebrity web site TMZ.com that he had written the song with Jackson in 1983, and that Jackson himself had recorded it under the title "I Never Heard" in the early 1990s.

Sony Music's Columbia/Epic Label Group and executors of Jackson's estate did not immediately return calls for comment.

But TMZ.com quoted executor John Branca as saying, "We acknowledge that Michael and Paul wrote this song together."

Anka told the website that those handling Jackson's estate had apologized for "ripping off my song."

The "This Is It track, which features backing vocals by Jackson's brothers, opens with a soft, soulful introduction and the lines: "This is it, here I stand/I'm the light of the world, I feel grand."

Jackson's other executor, John McClain, who is also a co-producer of the "This is It" album, had said in a statement on Monday that the song "only defines, once again, what the world already knows -- that Michael is one of God's greatest gifts."

Some critics begged to differ. Jon Pareles, the chief pop critic of The New York Times, said in a blog it "won't be on anyone's list of best Michael Jackson songs, even if it's a long list" and hoped there was something better in the Michael Jackson vaults of album outtakes.

The "This Is It" movie is based on rehearsal video shot in Los Angeles in the weeks before Jackson's planned 50 comeback concerts in London. It was the subject of a $60 million deal between Jackson's estate and concert promoter AEG Live and Sony Pictures.

Sales of Jackson's records spiked after his death and the release of the movie and album will add to the value of the "Thriller" singer's estate, estimated at around $400 million.

Sony Music said the first disc of the album will feature some of Jackson's greatest hits plus two versions of the "new" single.

The second disc will include unreleased versions of some of the singer's classic tracks and a spoken word poem entitled "Planet Earth" performed by Jackson and never heard before.

This is it, Here I stand
I’m the light of the world
I feel grand
And this love, I can feel
And I know, Yes for sure
It is real

And it feels as though I’ve seen your face a thousand times
And you said you really know me, yourself
And I know that you will…
But you say you’re gonna leave it for yourself

Oh yeah
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn’t my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on babe just …

This is it
Like I said
I’m a light of your world

This is real
Every time I’m in love yeah I feel

And it feels as though I’ve known you for a thousand years
And you tell me that you’ve seen my face before
And you said to me that you don’t want me hanging around

Oh yeah
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn’t my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on babe just

This is it
I can feel
I’m the light of the world
This is real

And it feels as though I’ve known you for a thousand years
And you said you saw my face yourself
And you said want to go with you all the while
And I know that it’s really for myself

Oh yeah
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn’t my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on please dear understand

I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn’t my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on dear please understand
Oh yeah
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn’t my plan.

World Largest Dog

CASSELTON, N.D. – Boomer may be a buster: Measuring 3 feet tall at the shoulders and 7 feet long from nose to destructive wagging tail, he might be the world's tallest living dog. Owner Caryn Weber says her 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the kitchen faucet in her family's eastern North Dakota farm house.

Boomer stares into car windows eye to eye with drivers. A 20-pound bag of dry dog food lasts the 180-pound canine a couple of weeks.

Weber says her furry black and white dog "comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around."

Weber plans to send Boomer's measurements to Guinness World Records. The previous record holder was a nearly 4-foot-tall Great Dane that died this summer.

Masjid Kampong Siglap Terbakar

SINGAPURA - MASJID Kampong Siglap dijilat api - dipercayai akibat perbuatan nakal - hingga hampir seluruh dewan solat utama, sehingga sebahagian bumbungnya, hangus, semalam.

This I Promise U

Ohh ohh...

When the visions around you,
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surround you,
Are secrets and lies
I'll be your strength,
I'll give you hope,
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call,
Was standing here all along..

And I will take
You in my arms
And hold you right where you belong

Till the day my life is through
This I promise you
This I promise you

I've loved you forever,
In lifetimes before
And I promise you never...
Will you hurt anymore
I give you my word
I give you my heart (give you my heart)
This is a battle we've won
And with this vow,
Forever has now begun...

Just close your eyes (close your eyes)
Each loving day (each loving day)
and know this feeling won't go away (no..)

Till the day my life is through
This I promise you..
This I promise you..

Over and over I fall (over and over I fall)
When I hear you call
Without you in my life baby
I just wouldn't be living at all...

And I will take (I will take you in my arms)
You in my arms
And hold you right where you belong (right where you belong)
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you baby

Just close your eyes
Each loving day (each loving day)
I know this feeling won't go away (no..)
Every word I say is true
This I promise you

Every word I say is true
This I promise you
Ooh, I promise you...
